Introducing Harrison & Never Settle For Ordinary
Geo’s Never Settle For Ordinary Series: Introducing our Project Manager

Who are you? What do you do?
I’m Harrison, the Creative Project Manager here at GeoBrand. I have been working at Geo for two years, I look after both the design and digital teams. Overseeing the creation and implementation of projects from branding briefs to website builds and event collateral curation. Having recently stepped up from the design team, I bring a different perspective to the project management role, I understand the client’s needs from a creative perspective and can help guide our clients through our creative process from project inception. I am also the office’s unofficial snack master, you can normally find me with a multitude of snacks at different points throughout the day.
Share a little bit about your journey so far…
I had an unusual pathway to project management. While always having an interest in marketing and brand messaging I didn’t come to the creative industries immediately, instead finding graphic design during A levels and falling in love with the subject. Six months later I was applying to Graphic Design and Communication courses.
After university, I completed my obligatory commuting to London, working for various graphic design agencies before finding my home at Geo.
I found myself working with clients directly straight away. With my focus on clear communication and meeting deadlines becoming apparent, an opportunity became available for me to step into project management. This felt like the natural progression point for me as I had taken over complete communication with some of our clients by this point.

What does ‘Never Settle For Ordinary’ mean to you?
Never Settle For Ordinary… It is a saying that I feel we should all aspire to, pushing the boundaries of what we think is possible in design, business and life.
It is a statement and expectation here at GEO, we represent many different companies and so creating the expected design route doesn’t work. We promise to bring new and exciting ideas to your project while keeping brand messaging and values at the forefront of the design.
Do you have any dream projects to work on this year?
I think there is a great opportunity to revolutionise how brands interact with their audiences through brand experience events and interactive touch points. I would love to be involved with some new and exciting tech brands this year, push their branding and bring a unique brand experience to life.
