Copper Rivet

Copper Rivet Distillery is a Kent based distillery located within the historic Chatham Dockyard, a location defined by industry, craftsmanship and centuries of hard work. While the brand itself was rooted in provenance and place, the existing website did not reflect the distillery’s story, setting or ambition. It felt dated and disconnected from the grit and character of the dockyard.

GeoBrand was brought in to create a new website and digital identity, supported by a bespoke WooCommerce build, that put craft at the heart of the experience. Inspired by the industrial nature of Chatham Dockyard, its textures, labour and history, we created a digital presence that feels authentic, robust and modern.

The result is an eCommerce website that honours Copper Rivet’s heritage while delivering a contemporary user experience, allowing the brand’s story, products and roots to take centre stage while supporting commercial growth.

The Challenge

The existing website lacked functionality and failed to capture the history of Copper Rivet’s unique location. As the distillery grew, there was a clear need for an eCommerce platform that could do more than simply sell products. The challenge was to create a modern digital experience that reflected provenance and quality, while improving usability, encouraging repeat custom and increasing revenue.

The Challenge

We placed the brand at the core, drawing inspiration from the grit, industry and craftsmanship of Chatham Dockyard. Industrial textures, strong typography and a refined user experience system helped balance heritage with modern digital design.

Built using WooCommerce, the website was designed as a flexible commercial tool. The platform allows the Copper Rivet team to add offers, promotions and limited editions, as well as introduce upsells and complementary products at checkout. This approach ensures the website actively supports sales, customer loyalty and long term growth, while clearly communicating the quality and craftsmanship behind every product.

Our approach

Copper Rivet now has a modern, intuitive eCommerce website that pays homage to its historic setting while driving meaningful commercial results. The refreshed digital identity strengthens storytelling, improves navigation and reinforces the distillery’s connection to place, provenance and craft.

With the ability to introduce offers, deals and tailored upsells, the website has become a powerful revenue generating platform that encourages repeat purchases and builds a loyal customer base around the brand.
