Giving back and building community spirit are two core values here at Geo, so we jumped at the opportunity to be the official Creative Partner of Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade. In support of Heart of Kent Hospice, the 2 month-long event, was the culmination of a 2-year partnership.

Celebrating the hospice
The event saw 51 fantastic painted Elmer sculptures form of a free art trail around Maidstone town centre. The sculptures were designed by local artists. Following the completion of the trail, all 51 sculptures were sold and a community-wide auction, raising an impressive £312,750 for the hospice.
Supporting the parade
Throughout our time supporting the event we provided design and creative support for all assets, trail maps, brochures, auction booklets and signage for both the build-up and during the event.
Leaving a lasting legacy
Following the completion of the trail, all 51 sculptures were sold and a community-wide auction. A staggering £312,750 was raised for the Hospice when the large Elmers were auctioned. The eager and enthusiastic crowd, including some telephone and proxy bidders, also drew interest from overseas with two Elmers finding their forever homes in Spain and America.
